About you
Our clients are typical cross sections of the broader WA community – their communities are rich in diversity, and bond through shared values and common interests. They are compassionate people with strong ethics and great intentions. But they’re often time poor and stretched thin, making inclusive communications not only challenging but problematic and confusing.

About us
At Brandable, we reframe problems as opportunities, and transform confusion into clarity. Through robust conversations, we inspire change inside your organisation and create brand communications that better represents and connects with your audience on the outside.
No matter what the project is, our mission is focused on building inclusive brands, from the inside out.
We collaborate with inclusion specialists that have lived experience to ensure we amplify the right voices for your project. We have a pragmatic approach and a clear framework that focuses on the deliberate use of inclusive language, design, systems and processes.

The core team
Tess Palmyre (she/her) - Founder
Brand strategy, workshop facilitation, communications
Tess is a brand and communications pro. Having worked both agency and client side, she knows education, health and not for profit brands inside out. Her superpowers lie in strategy and planning, corporate communications, brand management and content marketing. A first career as a school educator taught her that community and a clear purpose are at the core of successful brands.
Kristian Lawrence (he/him) - Creative lead
Web design, digital solutions, video production
Kristian is a creative whiz and digital problem solver. His skill set is a blend of graphic design, web development, photography, videography and digital solutions. A degree in environmental design taught him to always focus on creative endeavour, innovation and critical enquiry providing the perfect foundation for his marketing work with healthcare, not for profits and schools.
Bringing diverse people to the table
As a small independent agency, we know our strengths as well as our limitations. We can’t be all things to all people.
We have a collaborative approach with inclusion specialists, and other agencies that align with our values, so we can do the best work for our clients.
When you work with us, you can rest easy knowing that we will put together the right team for the job.
Our critical friends
We work by the motto, “Nothing for them, without them” when doing inclusion work, and are indebted to a group we call our critical friends. We couldn’t do the work we do without their counsel.
Some of our critical friends deserve a special mention. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but this group is pretty special to us.
- Melissa Fong-Emmerson (she/her): strategy, digital marketing, diversity and inclusion advocate
- Michelle Woosnam (she/her): First Nations advisory consultant, proud Banjima and Ballardong woman
- Andrew Fairbairn (he/him): physical disability advisory consultant, educator
- Caro Duca (they/them): bicultural facilitator, LGBTQIA+ advisory consultant, content creator
